How to Clean Your Window

Each window comes with two tilt latches (surface-mounted or recessed) on each operating sash.

Raise the bottom sash about 3 inches. Using both hands, disengage the tilt latches on both sides simultaneously. While holding the latches with your thumbs, gently pull the top of the sash towards you until the latches are clear of the frame. Holding the top of the sash, continue to lower it until you hear a "click". This "click" signifies that the balance locks have been engaged on both sides.

To tilt the top sash, lower it about 3 inches also and follow the same procedure as above.

To return either sash to its operating position, swing the sash back up and push the top the sash gently until the tilt latches snap back into place in the side firmly.

How to Remove Your Screen

Each screen is fitted with a rail or tabs on one side which, when pushed to the opposite side will compress the screen springs into the deep side channel and allow the screen to be removed as shown.

To reinstall the screen, reverse the procedure above, Reinsert the spring side of the screen into the deep side channel and compress with the rail or tabs. Once compressed, the rail or tab side of the screen will move easily in line with the shallow side channel. Releasing the rail or tabs slowly will allow the screen to slip into the shallow side channel and operate correctly. Check the operation of the screen.
